School's Almost Out -- Time to Green Out!
SOGO!, CCRx's annual End of School Year Classroom and Locker Cleanout is simple and fun. And, it makes a big difference for the environment and for each other.
Just set up boxes in the hallways during the last week of school. One for each type of supply -- backpacks, binders, writing utensils, art supplies, office supplies, calculators, books, etc. Don't forget your supply cabinets and gym equipment!
Fill them with everything you don't need that is clean, safe + working and too good to toss!
Let everyone take whatever they want -- then label and close the boxes and bring them to CCRx.
Bring it to CCRx on Saturday June 22, when volunteers from Chicago Cares will help take it all in.
