2018 Recyclo-Ponies: A Hand's On Toy-Making Experience (w/ Lunch!)

Learn about using recycled materials and small parts in a classroom/youth group setting in this hands-on workshop. Create toys and dolls from recycled fabric and materials, based on Envision Unlimited's Recyclo-Ponies.

Target audience is teachers, park district workers, after school program workers, parents with children, artist etc. – anyone who works with youth. This program will focus on activities and ideas that are applicable to working with children of all ages with varied learning styles.

This event is co-presented by Envision Unlimited and the Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange. Envision Unlimited provides quality services to people with developmental disabilities and other special needs that promote choice, independence and community integration. The workshop will be co-facilitated by artists from Envision's citywide art program and lunch will be created by members of the Envision cooking program.

$25 includes Lunch (Meat, Veggie + Vegan Options), Materials and Instruction.
