What is School's Out Green Out (SOGO!)?
​
If you're a Chicagoland student, teacher, or school, you need to SOGO!
SOGO! is CCRx's annual End of School Year Classroom and Locker Cleanout.
​
Gather your leftover supplies -- backpacks, binders, desks, and dioramas. Whatever you have that you don't need but is "too good to toss." SOGO lets you share with those who do!
It can be as simple as putting boxes in the hallways during locker clean-out, or more involved with awareness campaigns (posters, announcements, etc.), weighing and tracking, etc.

Share what you get with your school first, then bring the rest to CCRx. We'll sort + test everything for our annual Fall Back to School Teacher Supply RxTravaganza!
With 80% of CPS students living below the poverty line and teachers reaching into their pockets for basic supplies, you know there'll be folks who can use what your school doesn't need any longer!

Businesses can Green Out! too!
​
Green Out! Donations Drives are a great way for businesses, block clubs, scout troops, and other groups to gather their surplus and share it with Chicago teachers, their students, and other nonprofits.
