About The Event
Chicago teachers -- join us for this new monthly gathering at the CTU Center. Learn a new craft that you can use for yourself, or in the classroom. while you spend time with colleagues. Craft + Gab has no CDPUs, just a glass of wine and some quality "me time" along with a fun takeaway inspired by creative reuse.
Origami Boxes can be large or small and made from many types of paper -- but no glue or tape! We'll use wallpaper samples to make handsome containers for your desk, your home or to make any gift special.
Origami Boxes will be taught by artists Kathryn Trumbull Fimreite and Barbara Koenen of the Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx). You do not need to be an artist to participate -- anyone can learn this fun and useful skill!
$20 covers materials and refreshments, including beer/wine and light snacks.
