Remake, Reimagine: Upcycling Fashion for the Future with Cole Ackerman

Join Cole Ackerman for an afternoon of Upcycling! In this workshop, you will learn a bit about Upcycling and its applications. Then test it out for yourself with the option of three guided Upcycling projects. Projects will include a beanie, tote bag or customization of a piece of clothing you bring in.

Participants are encouraged to bring in a piece of clothing to customize as well as their sewing machine if they have one. There will also be sewing machines on site to use during the workshop if participants do not have one.

A student at the School Of The Art Institute, Cole Ackerman spends his time exploring the ways sustainablilty can be integrated with fashion.
