Saturday Art Kit Pickup for National Board Teachers

National Board teachers can RSVP here to pick up your Roy LIchtenstein Art Kits on Saturday December 7 from 11am to 2pm. 

If you can't make it on Saturday December 7, we will also be open Wednesday December 11 from 3pm to 7pm and you can rsvp for that date seperately.  

The “Art Kits” feature the famous Pop Artist Roy Lichtenstein and are specially designed for young artists, ages 8 to 18, with acrylic paint, brushes, colored pencils, “ben day” dot stencils, art paper and an activity book and softcover book about the artist.  The Art Kits, valued at $35 each, were donated by See the Vision, Grab the Vision, a New York-based arts non-profit that has been sponsoring the Chicago Park District’s multi-year OUT OF SIGHT public program that promotes positivity, aspiration, and visualization to youth and teens. 

While at the CCRx Warehouse, you are welcome to take class sets of new Scholastic books in many subjects for K-12 and young adult readers.

Teachers should bring an ID. 

CCRx and CTUF will host an art exhibition in early 2020 for young artists who have been inspired by the art kit.   Details to follow.
