About The Event
Shenequa Brooks takes her inspiration from the crowns of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat in constructing wearable crowns for self-expression and empowerment. She will show various materials and techniques for guiding the construction of crowns, and ways to discuss the project to draw participants with diverse skills, talents and interests. Crowns are appropriate for ages 12 to 112!
