Curriculum, Positive Action Grade 8 (Box 1 & 2)

The second broadcast season of the radio call-in talk show and drama on PALS Radio continues. However, there is a change in all of the characters’ names. Students learn the process of flipping negative circles into positive circles to work through stubborn negative behaviors using the “Positive Behavior Plan”. The Plan is used through the curriculum. The “Three Is”: image, impression, and identity, also carry on in Grade 8. Being true to yourself by telling yourself the truth helps you maintain a positive identity. With an accompanying illustrative poster, students take turns reading the “Rite of Passage,” a story that emphasizes how sometimes we have to listen to ourselves and do what we think is right even if others do not understand our reasoning. *Complete set!!*
