Are you an artist in our neighborhood? The City is looking for an artist / team to engage and oversee public art / community-based projects in Auburn - Gresham and Englewood neighborhoods (as well as Austin and New City).

"City accepting applications for 'artist-in-residence' program in four INVEST South/West neighborhoods The $700,000 pilot program will focus on creating public art at key locations in Englewood, Auburn Gresham, New City and Austin. The program is open to professional artists and artist teams who live or work in Chicago and have a demonstrated commitment to working with and for the benefit of the public. The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events will accept applications beginning today through Sunday, July 26. Read more
