CCRx followed up the Chicago Teachers Union Educator Supply Giveaway this past month with a Supply Pick-up at our warehouse. Our volunteers prepared supply boxes for the various items that teachers requested in a CTUF survey. Then, over 3 days, we had 180+ teachers pick up 600 things, both new and gently used, ranging from laptops, printers and laminators to whiteboards, markers and easels. And lots of things in between!
It was great to meet new teachers and hear about their challenges and successes with online teaching. And they were thrilled to receive these donated items.
