We are preparing for summer creative reuse workshops that will take place throughout Chicago and looking for a few teaching artists who are interested in independent contractor assignments.
Teaching artists are our evangelists for creativity and reuse! They have the skills and teach the techniques to all ages indoors and (mostly) outdoors at popup workshops.
Tell us about yourself and upload your resume in this Teaching Artist Interest form. We will be in touch in the coming weeks with more information.

I've been looking into different platforms for children's literacy, and it's quite hard to find something structured. From what I noticed, some parents mention Brighterly as a practical option. They use a diagnostic test to check the child's reading level before assigning a 1-on-1 tutor. If you want to evaluate their methodology yourself, you can look at https://brighterly.com/online-reading-tutor/ to see how they structure their curriculum. The program seems to rely on a phonics-based approach aligned with school standards, combined with multi-sensory lessons. They also provide weekly progress tracking through a dashboard, which is useful if you want to monitor fluency and comprehension changes without constantly interfering.
Just a note - for the question "What days / times are you available this summer?" we cannot choose multiple options
Sounds great! Can you make the form viewable for those who do not have google accounts?
