Our giant Red Wiggler Worm and Compost Brigade was a spectacular addition to this year's Arts in the Dark Parade!

Red Wiggler was a 40' long inflated beast in multiple shades of pink and red, presiding over a gathering of Compost: Leaves, Water, Fruit and Vegetables. Plus Corn! We paraded it all down State Street on Saturday October 18, after the No Kings March.
We partnered with Opera-Matic on the fabrication and wrangling, and were joined by The Cornettes and 20 volunteers for the actual parade!
The Cornettes promote corn and agriculture, and we were themed as Compost! So our costumes were Leaves, Water, Fruit and Veggie Scraps! And all of it was made from donations to CCRx : )
We had such a blast ... check out these pictures and see!
We LOVED having the CORNETTES in our Compost Procession!
We are grateful to Volunteering Untapped for helping with the costumes, and to Tyler, Chio, Agnotti, Shelby, Dylan, Daya, Noemi and, of course, Bunny the dog for their help....

What a face! What's not to love!!
