We love a parade! And for you to join us...

CCRx is teaming up with Opera-Matic once again for the Arts in the Dark Parade this October -- and we are looking for some help.

Would you like to build community while building puppets and props for the parade? Join our creative group of folks to participate in something epic!

This year, our theme for the parade is "Compost -- Nature's Creative Reuse". We are building a giant composting worm that will lead a parade of food scraps and bugs to nibble at it, followed by a bucket brigade to take it all away. And we'll parade it all down State Street on October 18th.

Come and help make puppets and costumes and/or join us in the march! No prior art skills required!

We are holding Community Build Days on the North Side and at CCRx, and if you sign up for one, you can come march in the parade.
