Where do you live in the city? I'm originally from Uptown but a true Chicago citizen, having lived all over, including the suburbs, and currently residing in Englewood. If you could be anything, what would it be and why? I decided along time ago to only live off my passions, purposes and gifts, so I am exactly what I want to be. A multi faceted healing artist.

What's your motto? You have all the answers you need Unleash Ur Own Guru™️

Matt Ryerse

Where do you live in the city? Wicker Park, with a dear friend from our hometown of Springdale, Arkansas.

If you could be anything, what would it be and why? If I could be anything, I'd be clay. I appreciate that it is an accumulation of many different earthen materials transformed by time, able to be formed, broken down, and reformed many times over. As a ceramics artist, clay constantly teaches me about resilience, adaptability, and expansive possibilities. What's your motto? "All that you touch, you change. All that you change, changes you. The only lasting truth is change. God is change." - Octavia E. Butler

Jen Cullerton Johnson

Where do you live in the city?

I live in Humboldt Park.

If you could be anything, what would you be and why? I'd be an acorn and, as Emerson wrote, be "the creation of a thousand forests."

What's your motto?

Creativity is Your Right!
