CCRx was delighted to welcome young scholars to the warehouse to learn about recycling and reimagining surplus. Ranging from age 6 to 18, the young people toured the CCRx Warehouse and asked LOTS of questions!
Then, with the guidance of Ms. Schaye and Ms. Lisa, each scholar made their own Imagination Journal from materials deconstructed from binders, books and magazines, foam stickies and a host of other donated materials.
Each journal was a unique creation that reflected the identity and interests of the artist. And all of them kept good things OUT of the landfill! Thanks so much to Pastor Maxie Phillips and the Jesus Word Center Church for making it all happen. Come back soon : )
